Bitcoin Reserve

The Maine Lobsterman Bitcoin Reserve is an experimental strategy to help protect and preserve the future of our industry, culture, and heritage. Instead of relying on dollars that can be printed and inflated away, the Reserve is built on Bitcoin — a form of hard money outside government control.

Left Buoy believes that a man’s savings, earned through hard labor, should never be watered down by someone running the money printer. Every trap hauled should hold its value. Banks can freeze accounts, seize assets, and leave working men with nothing overnight — but Bitcoin, with its fixed supply, deflationary nature, and the fact it can’t be seized if stored correctly, gives lobstermen a way to keep their wealth truly theirs.
